People are the end users of the service. A person depending on how they are set up may;
- Load the IM-Notify application on their mobile or tablet device to receive and control messaging, mapping and call services
- Be a recipient of telephone calls
- Receive SMSs
- Receive Emails
The minimum information required to add a user to the system is an email address. The email address must be unique and you will be warned if this email has already been used.
By adding a phone number to a persons details will allow the system to call them when they are part of a group which has voice services. Voice services are Voice Message and Dial Out (conference). If a mobile number is added as the primary number then this will also allow you to enable the person to use the Mobile App. When mobile numbers are added they are automatically setup to receive SMS (if appropriate) too.
